Roots in the round
Our mission with Roots In The Round is to provide stable and versatile platforms for singer-songwriters of all levels to hone their craft and share their art in environments that are well-suited to improve networking, inclusion, and acceptance.

Roots In The Round believes that all songwriters deserve to be heard and seen, and we are committed to growing our local artistic community by bringing artists together on stage and encouraging conversation and storytelling between the performers to highlight their individual songwriting styles and identities. This develops into natural, long-lasting relationships, which strengthen the ties in our local music scene and the community at large. We also provide ongoing training courses focused on audio and video production, available by sign-up thru email, to our community. Our long term goal is to grow our local music scene in a positive manner through various programs designed to encourage songwriters to do what they do best: Perform music for folks who want to listen.

The three members of our board, President Bryan Olson, Vice President Josh Loftis, & Hospitality Manager Emily Morrison are devoted to invigorating the musical arts community. Voting power is equally spread across the board and each board member has their own definitive roles to maintain efficiency within our organization. As we continue to grow, we will add new members with specific roles to help diversify our organization.

Bryan Olson is a versatile music producer, live sound engineer, video editor, event coordinator, & session player (guitar, bass, vocals). He has collaborated with artists such as Isaac Hickerson, Lochlann, Shane Honeycutt, and more, bringing his skills in production and A&R to various projects. President of Roots In The Round, C.O.O. of Grass Roots Ent. Group. Songwriter of 15+ years.
Josh Loftis is a multi-skilled graphic designer, brand manager, merchandise creator, videographer, video editor, & session player (guitar, bass, Mandolin, Banjo). With expertise in A&R, Josh helps artists bring their vision to life while managing brand identities and creating engaging content. CEO of Grass Roots Ent. Group, Vice President of Roots In The Round. Songwriter of 15+ years.
Emily Morrison is the Hospitality Director for Roots In The Round, where she creates a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and performers alike. With a keen eye for detail and a heart for hospitality, she ensures that every event runs smoothly and that everyone feels like part of the family. She also plays a vital role in social media engagement, connecting with followers and helping grow our online presence.
